The Grill House, Kensington Road, Ulsoor
Quick Review: Not sure if this new place is related to the Indiranagar Grill House, but it is indeed good. With a ranch-style ambiance and with a wide menu they are serious about giving you a wholesome experience. The portions are large: so make sure you don't order too many dishes. They try to serve everything as plated or sizzler, something kids love. The only thing we weren't happy about was the racing acumen of the valet parking driver. Caesar's, MG Road
Quick Review: Caesar's Restaurant on MG Road (Opp. ING Vysya Building, adjacent to HSBC and on the basement of the building which also houses the SBI and the Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank) is where I have eaten the most mixed grills - because they serve quite a variety of meat! Plenty of seating (although I would advise you to reserve a table), a wonderful ambience and a menu that also has Chinese, North India makes it a satisfying eating out location for the entire family. The sea food salad melts in your mouth and chicken hawaiian salads are mouth watering. The only drawback is varying consistency of the offer which is not the trademark of a great restaurant.

The Only Place, Museum Road
Quick Review: I still remember the London fish and chips I had at the Only Place when they were on Moto Royal Arcade. Now on Museum Road, they are known for the quality of the meat and we have enjoyed quite a few good meals there. If I remember right, they don't serve as sizzler.

Yoko Sizzlers, Church Street
I first tried them during their first week in operation, but the result was not very satisfying. The ingredients were a bit Indian and that's not how you make continental dishes. Not sure whether they've improved, but they're still open.

Cafe Y, Langford Town
Quick Review: Tucked away on a corner in Langford Road is Cafe Y - a neat little place. It's on the main road and looks like a neighborhood eatery, but it's much more than that. The menu is extensive but the highlight is the food, which is quite yummy. While kids may not like that all food is served plated, there is a kiddie menu to take care of their little interests.

Tiffany's, Residency Road
Tiffany's at Devatha Plaza (Residency Road) seems to be improving. I had a lamb shoulder steak last time and it was truly delicious. If you walk in for dinner, you also get a wonderful view of the UB City skyline!

Casa Piccola, Residency Road
There are quite a few Casa Piccolas in Bangalore - including one at Devatha Plaza (on Residency Road - St. Marks Road intersection) and on CMH Road (section between Ulsoor and Double Road) - and undoubtedly they are the cheapest and quickest way to good quality continental food. The fare on offer is quite decent. Unfortunately, they don't serve as sizzler.

Lazio, Ulsoor Road
For a quick and affordable steak, Lazio - on an Ulsoor Road bylane - is a very good option. Not so classy as Caesar's or Flambe, you can still whet your continental appetite. My favorites are the juicy steaks! By the way, they also serve other cuisines so it's ideal for a group eating out. Sadly, no sizzlers here as well.

Quick Review: Another cool continental restaurant with an appetite-whetting menu. Make sure you reserve your table in advance as they can be quite crowded on weekends. Located on Millers Road, No. 46 (after Just Born, on the same side, if you're driving down from Cunningham Road).

The Grill House, Indiranagar
Quick Review: Yet another steak house and this one is in Indiranagar. The food is good, the steaks are juicy and great. Other than sizzlers, they also have a good variety of pasta. The barbeque chicken wings was very tasty although had a distinct Chinese flavor. We had ordered two steaks and both were good. And the price is easy on the pocket, as well. Quick Review: It must be atleast 5 years since I've been to IndiJoe - the one at Carlton Towers on Airport Road, but the success of this BJN Group enterprise is evident from the opening of the branches at RMZ Infinity on Old Madras Road and on Church Street.

Tangerine in Indiranagar 100 ft road (stretch between CMH Road and Old Madras Road, Opp. South Indies and near Federal Bank) is another cool place for sizzlers. The food is good although I remember a strong Italian flavour.

Quick Review: One of the latest places offering continental food and probably a bit difficult to locate, but when it comes to the food it's worth the effort reaching there. Located on the Outer Ring Road section between Marathahalli and Sarjapur Road, it's very close to Belandur.
